Gods Divine Appointments!

This week a team came to share the Gospel through music. Spending time praying with the team has been such an encouragement! Also one of the girls came to Europe planning to spend at least 6 months here and was praying God would open the right doors. Well, she majored in English and LOVES it, has a passion for Christ and is taking on the classes that my housemate had. Plus she will be filling the gap Becky leaves in our home!! Is that a prayer answered or what! Praise God!

With Easter coming up there are many opportunities to share Christ with the students-so continue to pray for their salvation. There is an ongoing excitment in working for God, so long as the focus is kept on him....... otherwise it is just plain hard work.

Also we made a mistake tonight-we took some students to see a movie which they had chosen-it was pg and we asked some people who had seen it and they told us it was a good film. Well, it wasn't. Nothing edifying or wholesome about it. It really was filling our minds with awful things. We wondered if we should just leave early but hoped it would redeem itself. It didn't. So I will apologise to the students next week-I am thankful for Gods grace when we fall short but really sorry that it happened.

On a lighter note-one of the American team visiting was saying how she had a deep desire to be famous only she knew God things where more important but sometimes it was a struggle to put that first-well she is going to be interviewed and on Prime time tv in Poland! God really does know the desires of our hearts!!

It's hard to know how to deal with a movie that's reccomended but turns bad - but if you talk about it seriously, and apologise (they may not always understand) but you can sometimes turn a potentially damaging experience to something that can be learnt from. All the best with that!

Good to hear you have a new housemate, and someone else to help around the school! Good to hear our prayers were answered!

Catch you later

- John
